- Etched brass detail set: mesh stowage trays and additional fine exterior details.
- Full-colour decal sheet with marking options for multiple vehicles.
Vehicle Overview
Designation: Centurion Armoured Recovery Vehicle Mk-2 (ARV Mk-2)
Base Platform: Centurion Gun Tank (AFV Club kits; Meteor engine versions required)
Role: Armoured recovery and support vehicle for Centurion main battle tanks.
Operational History:
- Standard British ARV from 1956, with some units serving in the Gulf War (1990–1991).
- Final Centurion ARV Mk-2 units withdrawn from service in 1995.
- Converted from Centurion gun tanks, producing two primary hull variants:
- Long hull (based on Centurion Mk-1/2)
- Short hull (based on Centurion Mk-3/5) – majority of the 300+ produced.
- Short-hull variant also supplied to export customers worldwide, sometimes in modified form.
