Vehicle Overview Designation: Churchill Armoured Recovery Vehicle Mk-II (ARV Mk-II) Base Platform: AFV Club Churchill kit (donor required) Role: Armoured recovery and support vehicle for Churchill tanks and variants.  

Operational History:

• Served in late World War II with British units equipped with Churchill tanks.

• Superseded the original ARV Mk-I, featuring a high-capacity internal winch, rear spade, and enhanced recovery capabilities.

• Equipped with spares, tools, welding equipment, and all standard recovery, towing, and lifting gear.

• Served in UK theatres of operation, including Korea, supporting Churchill and Centurion tanks until introduction of Centurion ARV Mk-I and Mk-II.

• Beach operations: towed 45-ton Tracked OROLO trailer.
